Price Quotes: We prefer you come into the store if at all possible so we can tailor-fit the deal that is right for you. You can also call (760) 256-4090 and ask the Sales Department for a price quote. We do require a name and a phone number in most instances for out-the-door pricing so that we can keep track of the price quotes, dates quoted, etc.

What does MSRP mean?

MSRP means Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price.

What does BMC mean?

BMC means “ALL FEES” and includes factory incentives, consumer rebates, sales tax, license fees, document prep fees, dealer freight and set up, and tire recycling fees. Prices do not include finance charges. Prices subject to availability.

We charge California sales tax even if you are an out-of-state customer but your state should credit you for paying CA sales tax. It is customers responsibility to research with their local DMV on requirements and expectations of out of state purchases. We do not forward any paperwork for processing out-of-California. Customer will receive a California title.

What does FOTD mean?

FOTD means "Final Out The Door" pricing.

Paying with Personal/Business Checks: No third party checks are ever accepted under any circumstances. Customer name and current address, etc. must appear on the personal check and final determination of acceptability is at the discretion of Barstow Motorcycle Center (out-of-town personal checks are usually not accepted). Checks accepted for bike and quad sales only and not for individual accessory purchases. Barstow Motorcycle Center (BMC) will be listed as lien-holder on all vehicle purchases that are paid in full or in part with a check. Once the check clears and title is received, BMC will sign-off on title from DMV as lien-satisfied and title will be mailed to customer; it is then customers responsibility to remove lien from title. We also will not take a check if any other portion of the deal is paid through Suzuki's lender or other unless the situation can be addressed in the store (we need to see the check, etc) to make a final determination.

Cashiers Checks: Cashier checks are preferred over personal checks and BMC will not have to remain as lien holder until the check clears. Check will have to be reviewed for acceptability and can not be third party: Must be made out to Barstow Motorcycle Center.

Paying with Credit Cards: Our quotes are for cash or non-discount financing (must qualify). If you pay with a credit card for vehicle purchases then we must add a surcharge for our increased cost due to credit card merchant fees.

Telephone Quotes: Prices quoted over the phone are good that day only and only if you have left a legitimate contact name and phone number. If you want the price held for any longer then a deposit or other arrangement must be made with the sales manager.

A price quote is not binding on our part until we have taken a deposit for the vehicle. We will not hold the bike for an indefinite period of time (usually only one day).

Disclaimer: Prices and availability are always changing as well as factory to dealer incentives, etc. and we do make legitimate mistakes sometimes such as misquotes, typos, and other mistakes. We never smoke and mirror, bait and switch our customers but we do thank you for your understanding when we do make mistakes; we try our best to avoid mistakes but they do happen (especially when we have a busy sales floor and high volume of price requests). If you are coming from far away, we can send you faxed proof of your deal price if you are patient and allow us to fax you a copy of the retail order.

Can you give me a complete breakdown?

If it is necessary for your own financing, then yes. But we do not hold bikes for indefinite periods of time while you are trying to source financing so we can not ensure that we will have the exact color or VIN number that the deal was set up for. We will do our best to coordinate with you and your lender however when we can.

WILL YOU BEAT OR MATCH OTHER DEALER PRICES?

We will try our best. Please call or come in and give us the other dealers name and quote and if we can verify the quote then we will consider matching or beating their prices whenever possible, we try not to ever be undersold and we also offer great after-sales service with accessory discounts, free PARTS on your first service (free oil, filter, spark plugs, etc., but price does not include labor charges).

The manufacturer is running a promotional offer. Do I get to take that money or merchandise in addition to the BMC quote? No, we have already factored that into the price of the vehicle. We automatically take the cash value of any promotional offers and use them to reduce the unit price.

Shipping/Delivering Bikes: We do not ship or deliver bikes; customer must take delivery at dealership.
